Oregon State and Colorado State have agreed to a home-and-home series to be played in Fort Collins on Sept. 23, 2017 and in Corvallis on Sept. 12, 2020, OSU announced Wednesday.
The 2017 date replaces a previously scheduled home contest against Nevada, which was canceled due to "scheduling conflicts," according to an OSU release.
OSU, which values regional scheduling, now has five Mountain West opponents on its upcoming nonconference slate, joining Boise State (2016, 2022, 2023), Nevada (2018), Hawaii (2019 and 20201) and San Jose State (2020)
"Regional games are an important part of our non-conference scheduling philosophy," coach Gary Andersen said in a release.
