Oregon State coach Gary Andersen joined me on the Bald Faced Truth radio show (12-3p weekdays on 750-AM and 102.9-FM) on Tuesday. Andersen won't give a prediction on how many games the Beavers win this season, but he will say whether he'd like to start on offense or defense on Thursday night.

"I'd rather be on defense," Andersen said. "Either way is fine with me. If they win the toss, they're going to take the ball, but I'll see what we do... if I had my druthers, I'd rather be on defense.
