Technically, the Beavers have never been the betting favorite this season. Vegas did not take odds on their eventual win over FCS foe Idaho State, which is now tied for last in the Big Sky. But even though ISU could not put up much of a fight, Oregon State was generally flat in that victory and able to power through due to their superior talent. Arizona has gone through a terrible season but does have weapons. The Beavers are expected to win. However, they are not yet proven enough to withstand a slow start.
