CORVALLIS — After nearly a yearlong wait, Oregon State's losing skid is finally over.
The Beavers topped Idaho State 37-7 Saturday afternoon at Reser Stadium, their first victory since beating San Jose State on Sept. 19, 2015.
OSU (1-1) never trailed, scoring 24 points off of five Bengals turnovers. OSU receiver Victor Bolden tallied 111 rushing yards (including a 92-yard score) and a two catches for 56 yards (including a leaping 48-yard grab), while quarterback Darell Garretson went 15 of 30 for 172 yards and an interception and also tallied 46 rushing yards and a score.
