CORVALLIS — Oregon State's mantra is "next possession," an even more microscopic version of the "one game at a time" cliché peppered throughout sports.
But when Gabby Hanson woke up on Dec. 1, one thought immediately popped into her mind.
"Eighteen days until Tennessee," the Beavers' guard thought.
The excitement for the Beavers' rematch against No. 14 Tennessee has not negatively impacted OSU, as it enters Saturday with a perfect 8-0 record and ranked seventh nationally. But now it's finally time for the Beavers to host the storied Lady Vols in one of the most-anticipated home contests in program history.
