DALLAS -- Oregon State will be part of the first-timers party at the Women's Final Four, upsetting top-seeded Baylor 60-57 on Monday.
The second-seeded Beavers join Washington, the Lexington Regional winner, and Sioux Falls champ Syracuse as programs that have reached the Final Four for the first time. In an entertaining game at American Airlines Center, the Pac-12 tournament champion Beavers were able to keep the pace in their favor. They are the second Pac-12 team to make it to Indianapolis. Washington advanced to the national semifinals Sunday.
Midway through the third quarter Monday, Oregon State led 42-35, but Baylor cut it to 42-41 with 3:17 left after six consecutive points from Khadijiah Cave.
