Oregon State Beavers practice report: Turnovers most glaring offensive error in opener

1. Offensive coordinator Kevin McGiven immediately highlighted the turnovers as the most glaring takeaway from the Colorado State loss. He estimated that the Beavers were in position to score on six of the 10 drives in which they did not give the ball away, which is a pretty solid percentage.

McGiven said Trevon Bradford and Noah Togiai, who both fumbled while fighting for extra yardage, need to get two hands on the ball as soon as contact arrives. And of Jake Luton’s three interceptions, McGiven said only one was a result of a bad decision in which he could have gone through his progressions faster.
