Five observations (and a bonus)
1. I asked Gary Andersen if there have been any extra jump-ball drills this week, where defenders work on knocking a pass down in the end zone after Gabe Marks hauled one in while surrounded by three Beavers last week. Andersen said working against the Hail Mary is on tap for Friday's practice, but used that play as an example of the "education" of a young defense during the season.
