CORVALLIS – At the center of Oregon State's quest to bounce back from a 2-10 season is the need to improve a defense that ESPN rated as the least efficient in the Pac-12.
Despite a change at defensive coordinator in Gary Andersen's second year at OSU, the Beavers' head coach highlighted that unit's ability to run more packages due to simple continuity in the 3-4 scheme.
"It's much more complex then we were a year ago," he said of the defense Monday. "I just think a year later you can have a lot more defense.
