Mike Riley's average class was rated 48th in the country, while Andersen's first two classes have averaged 51st in the nation. However, that number is misleading for a few reasons.
Andersen had to scramble in his first class and wound up with a group that is rated 71st in the country, as he had just over one month to put it together. His second class, still incomplete, is 31st, which is eight spots higher than any group Riley brought in since 2007. Again, though, that class is likely to fall a few spots as other teams fill their scholarships.
