Fifty-two days after Oregon State and Gary Andersen agreed to part ways, the Beavers remain without a permanent head football coach.
Cory Hall still is the interim coach after more than seven weeks, but all other assistants were told Sunday they would not be retained and to vacate their Valley Football Center offices by Tuesday night.
OSU athletic director Scott Barnes said on Oct. 9 - the day he announced Andersen’s departure - that the midseason transition would allow a head start on the hiring process.
“It creates a clear path,” Barnes said.

At the time, Oregon State was the only Power Five conference school to have a head coaching position available.
