The Oregon State Beavers enter a momentous, season-concluding, three-game stretch with Saturday night's game at UCLA.
The Beavers' last three opponents -- UCLA, Arizona and Oregon -- have a combined 8-19 win-loss record.
If OSU wins two -- even all three -- it will provide a huge boost for coach Gary Andersen's second-year program. And, yeah, it's possible.
Whatever OSU's deficiencies in talent and on the scoreboard, the Beavers have played hard and with spirit all season. A strong finish would give them a burst of momentum heading toward 2017's manageable nonconference schedule of Portland State, Minnesota and Colorado State.
