Oregon State Beavers aim to break road losing streak Saturday at UCLA

PASADENA, Calif. — On an October 2014 day at Colorado, Terron Ward rushed for 100 yards and D.J. Alexander recorded his first-career interception. Trevor Romaine knocked three field goals through the uprights, while Obum Gwacham made his first start at defensive end.

That's the last time Oregon State captured a road victory, a feat only 15 current Beavers were a part of. It's a losing skid that has stretched 12 games and parts of three seasons, marking a key hurdle this program is still aiming to clear in Year 2 of Gary Andersen's rebuild.

And the Beavers' final chance to reach that benchmark in the 2016 season comes Saturday night against a struggling UCLA squad inside one of college football's most historic venues — the Rose Bowl.
