Oregon State Basketball Target Jarvis Thomas Picks Minnesota

A four-star rising senior from Orono, Minnesota, forward Jarvis Thomas announced over the weekend that he would be making his decision on where to further his basketball career on Tuesday. And, as expected, the 6’ 7”, 225-pound prospect decided to stay home and committed to the University of Minnesota via this video posted on his Twitter account.

Thomas also had a ceremony in his school’s gymnasium where he publicly detailed his commitment to the Golden Gophers to a group of family and friends. Thomas chose Minnesota over a host of Division I offers that included Arizona State, Iowa State, Marquette, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Texas A&M, Wake Forest and Wisconsin-Green Bay.
