CORVALLIS — At a time when much of the basketball world has focused on "small ball," Oregon State men's basketball is tinkering with the option of going big this coming season.
Every practice, the staff has made sure to include minutes on the floor together for 6-foot-10 sophomore Drew Eubanks and 6-11 sophomore Gligorije Rakocevic. Cheikh N'diaye, the Beavers' 7-foot senior center, has also been in the mix.
After an offseason in which Eubanks and Rakocevic have worked on becoming more versatile, the Beavers hope they can share the court in spurts at power forward and center to give the team an added dimension.
