Despite a long break, the Beavers did not look rusty at all on Saturday afternoon, taking down Arkansas Pine Bluff in dominant fashion 80-46.
The Golden Lions scored the first 2 points of the game, but following that the Beavers went on a 23-0 run to put the game away early. Tres Tinkle once again led the way for Oregon State, with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Tinkle also added 5 steals, powering a defense that made the Golden Lions afternoon absolutely miserable.
Ethan Thompson was the Beavers’ other big scorer today, going a perfect 3 for 3 on three pointers and finishing the game with 21 points, 5 assists and 2 rebounds.
