Oregon State Basketball: Beavers Agree To Home-And-Home Series With Iowa State

In an effort to improve the level of competition on their schedule, Oregon State has agreed to play a home-and-home series against Iowa State beginning in the 2019-2020 season. The agreement between the two teams means that the Beavers will host the Cyclones this upcoming campaign and then travel to Ames for a second meeting during the 2020-2021 season. The news was first reported by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

Sources: Iowa State and Oregon State will begin a home-and-home series next season in Corvallis. Return game in Ames in 20-21.

Iowa State joins Oklahoma (who the Beavers will play in the PK Invitational on November 12th, 2019 at the Moda Center in Portland) as the first Big 12 squads to grace Oregon State’s schedule since the Beavers played Kansas in the Kansas City Shootout back in December of 2015, while interestingly enough, the Cyclones haven’t beaten a Pac-12 school since head coach Steve Prohm’s debut game against Colorado in November of 2015.
