At the risk of stating the obvious, Oregon State baseball is having another great year in 2018. After demolishing San Diego in two games this week, the Beavs have reached the 40 win mark for the ninth time since 2005.
The offense is playing fantastically with the ninth most runs nationally (391). Friday starting pitcher Luke Heimlich has had a handle on most of his games with 115 strikeouts. Saturday starter Bryce Fehmel has tossed his way to a 7-1 record. But the third games in series, usually on Sunday, haven't had the same level of consistency.
