Oregon State Baseball: Beavers Finish Regular Season With Big Win Over Stanford

After going 2-8 in their last 10 games, Oregon State really needed a solid win to close out the season and make their case to the NCAA, and they got one today, knocking off the ninth ranked Stanford Cardinal 9-1 to avoid the series sweep and close the season with a win. The Beavers finish the season 34-22, with a 16-14 PAC-12 record.

After 19 scoreless innings against Stanford, the Beavers finally got a run on the scoreboard in the top of the second. Jake Dukart opened the inning with a single, and then a Garret Forrester walk moved him up to second base.
