It took 10 innings to do it, but a team has finally handed Oregon State their first loss of the season. The UC Irvine Anteaters took down Oregon State 3-2 in the 10th inning to drop the Beavers to 9-1 on the season.
For the third time this weekend, UC Irvine grabbed the first run of the game. In the top of the second, a Caden Kendle double scored Dub Gleed to give the Anteaters the lead. They added another run in the top of the third with a Nathan Church single.
The Anteaters held on to that 2-0 lead until the bottom of the seventh.
