After a run of games where they scored 0, 0, 3 and 2 runs, the Beavers finally got their offense fully in motion today, grabbing a big 10-3 victory in their second game against the Washington State Cougars. The Beavers now sit at 12-4 overall, and 1-1 in conference play.
A Jake Dukart double in the bottom of the second got the Beavers their first base runner. Dukart advanced to third on a wild pitch, and then scored on a Ryan Ober ground ball. In the bottom of the third, a Garrett Forrester single scored Preston Jones, giving the Beavers a 2-0 lead.
