On the same day that the Beavs’ get set to face Arkansas in game one of the College World Series final, USA Baseball announced their finalized roster for the 2018 collegiate national team that will compete internationally this summer.
Among that group was current Oregon State sophomore catcher and All-American Adley Rutschman. Rutschman was one of 24 players selected that will compete against Japan, Chinese Taipei, and Cuba in the coming weeks.
Of course, Rutschman and the Beavers still have unfinished business in Omaha, so the Sherwood, Oregon, native will make his way to USAB’s National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina after the conclusion of the finals.
