Sydney Wiese – Townsville Fire
Former point guard Sydney Wiese helped the Townsville Fire (Australia) to its third WNBL Championship in the last four seasons, as the squad defeated Melbourne in the title series on Sunday. Wiese averaged 7.5 points per game for the Fire this season, shooting 42 percent from the floor. She also shot 92 percent from the free throw line, and tallied 2.25 assists per contest.
Wiese was selected by the Los Angeles Sparks in last year's WNBA Draft, and was part of an LA squad that went to the WNBA Finals in 2017.
