CLEMSON, S.C. – The Oregon State women's rowing team competed in six races on the first day of racing at the Clemson Invitational with each boat earning a spot to compete tomorrow in Final 'C'.
"We had a mixed bag of racing today," interim head coach said. "A good showing from our Varsity 8 which is the highlight boat of the day. They put together the best two races of our season in one day. A true testament to their abilities will be how they rally tomorrow in the 'C' final."
The Beavers' Varsity 8, consisting of , , , , , , , and and coxed by , started the morning off covering the 2,000-meter course, on Lake Hartwell in 6-minutes, 39.
