CORVALLIS - Oregon State men's basketball improved its win streak to five games for the first time in three years, defeating Jacksonville State 70-69 on Tuesday at Gill Coliseum. The Beavers led by as many as six points in the second half and held off a late JSU charge.
Top performances: OSU junior guard Stephen Thompson Jr. led the Beavers with 10 points in the first half and finished with 18 points on 6 of 11 shooting. Drew Eubanks had 13 points and 11 rebounds, Tres Tinkle added 10 points and four steals, Ethan Thompson chipped in with nine points and a team-high five assists, and Kendal Manuel added 10 points off the bench.
