If the preseason polls mean anything, the Oregon Ducks are going to have quite the winter in basketball.
Oregon men's basketball was picked to finish first in the Pac-12 in the annual media poll released Thursday morning. Just a day earlier, the Duck women were selected as the heavy favorite to repeat as women's Pac-12 champions by a vote of league coaches.
Oregon brings in a star-studded recruiting class to join junior guard Payton Pritchard, who led the Ducks in scoring and assists a year ago, and forward Paul White. Oregon finished sixth in the Pac-12 a year ago, and reached the second round of the NIT.
