Three recruits offered their verbal — non-binding disclaimer warning! — commitments to Oregon State on Tuesday in what is usually a dry spell in recruiting. The Beavers will happily take the commitments from Sherwood linebacker David Morris (pictured, in white), Arizona receiver Kolby Taylor and, most intriguingly, German exchange student Fabian Kratz. At least for right now, some believe OSU has more recruiting mojo than Oregon. As with everything in recruiting, check back in February, when national letters of intent are signed.

Every Monday, The Oregonian/OregonLive's Oregon Sports Power Ranking will gauge which Oregon teams and players made the most of the week that was in a place where everyone from preps to the pros are on level footing.
