After 4 games of sitting on the bench for the Trail Blazers in the Las Vegas Summer League, Omari Johnson was able to crack the rotation in the Blazers' final summer league game, a win over the Boston Celtics. He logged 13 minutes and 36 seconds and finished with 6 points on 2-7 shooting (0-3 on 3-pointers) while also grabbing 2 rebounds and finishing with a plus/minus of +6. There were not many negatives to his game outside of missing all his 3-pointers and 1 turnover.
Johnson looked impressive in his first minutes of the summer, and it could make the organization at least consider bringing him to training camp again.
