CORVALLIS, Ore. – Aaron "Mateo" Olmos, a standout 160-pounder from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif., and Boise State 165-pound transfer Billy Bigelow have signed to wrestle at Oregon State, coach Jim Zalesky announced Thursday.
They will join the team for the 2017-18 season. Olmos is from Imperial Beach, Calif.; Bigelow is from Las Vegas.
Olmos placed third at the CIF state tournament in March. He won individual titles at the El Dorado Invitational, El Cajon, Five Counties and Holtville Rotary tournaments, and took fourth at the Doc Buchanan Invitational.
