Showcase events, particularly in their first years, can be a bit of a mess, as instructors scramble to corral hundreds of athletes into drills that college coaches want to see.
Walking through the throng of coaches from Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, Boise State, Portland State, Eastern Washington and many more at the first annual Northwest Best Collegiate Showcase at Madison High School, it was clear the new camp had no such issues.
"It's the most well-organized camp I've been to," Oregon offensive coordinator Matt Lubick said, with quarterback coach David Yost nodding at his side.
