Noah Togiai impressed with big plays in return, focused on improving blocks

CORVALLIS - Just like most everyone else watching the first nationally televised college football game of the season Saturday, Noah Togiai knew he caught it.

The Oregon State tight end's diving end zone grab with four seconds remaining in the second quarter at Colorado State could have evened the score of a shootout heading into halftime.

That is, if it had counted.

After the play was ruled incomplete, Togiai watched the replay on a brand new 84-by-50-foot big screen and thought there was no way he let the ball hit the turf.
