CORVALLIS -- Oregon State enters the stretch run of the regular season alone atop the Pac-12 standings and in prime position to capture a third consecutive conference title.
That quest continues Friday night with a home matchup against USC.
The No 9 Beavers have won seven in a row since losing at No. 15 UCLA on Jan. 13 and could clinch a first-round bye in the Pac-12 Tournament with a victory over the Trojans. OSU holds a one-game advantage in the Pac-12 standings over No. 8 Stanford and No. 10 Washington.
The night could also be historic for Beavers point guard Sydney Wiese, as she needs four assists to become OSU's all-time leader in that category.
