No. 7 Oregon State turns aggressive in 76-52 rout of USC

CORVALLIS — Up six points following a choppy first half, Oregon State players and coaches did not say or do anything out of the ordinary in the locker room.

Jamie Weisner recalled a message of getting more aggressive. And getting tougher.

Then Sydney Wiese interjected with the most important adjustment.

"Make shots," the OSU point guard said. "Bottom line."

The No. 7 Beavers flourished in that area of the game that is simple to aspire to but not always easy to master, using a third-quarter outburst to roll to a 76-52 victory over USC Friday night at Gill Coliseum.
