CORVALLIS -- When asked about the emotions heading into Oregon State's rematch against No. 12 UCLA on Sunday night, a grin flashed across Sydney Wiese's face.
"We're excited," the normally talkative OSU point guard said, purposely ending her response there.
Teammate Jamie Weisner went a bit deeper, noting that the Beavers are "a different team" since the Bruins thumped the Beavers in Los Angeles by 20 points in early January in OSU's last loss and only defeat in Pac-12 play.
And the Beavers' leading scorer is largely correct.
That contest was OSU's third game without Wiese, who missed a month with a broken hand.
