CORVALLIS -- The last time Oregon State faced Washington, Kelsey Plum let a runner in the lane fly at the buzzer, which bounced off the backboard and then the rim.
That capped a rare forgettable night for arguably the nation's most prolific offensive player, who went 4 of 19 from the floor as the Beavers held on for a wild victory in the Pac-12 Tournament semifinals. But though Plum's line was uncharacteristic, it was not entirely shocking that it came OSU, the lockdown defensive team that has perhaps held the Huskies star in check better than any regular opponent throughout her career.
