LOS ANGELES - The Oregon State softball team was able to get the bat on the ball for a couple of connections but No. 2 UCLA took game two, Saturday afternoon.
The Bruins quickly took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the first but the Beavers stopped a higher lead notching three outs with two on base.
Freshman made the first connection for the Beavers but she was unable to get on base in the second inning.
Sophomore made it to first with a fielding error from a strong connection to second base.
