No. 2 UCLA 76, Oregon State: 63 Game at a Glance

CORVALLIS - Oregon State (4-11) hung with No. 2 UCLA (14-1) for much of the first half and tied the game in the second but could not overcome one of the nation's elite offenses, falling 76-63 on Friday at Gill Coliseum.

Key run: After Oregon State sophomore guard Stephen Thompson Jr. hit a lefty layup to cut the UCLA lead to 47-45, the Bruins responded with a 17-5 run that culminated with a Lonzo Ball three-pointer in transition to give them a 64-50 lead with 6:12 to play.

It was over when: Ball drove the basket and banked in a layup while getting fouled to give UCLA a 74-59 lead with 1:58 remaining.
