No. 11 Oregon State Beavers roll past Utah 70-44: Game at a glance

CORVALLIS -- Behind the scoring duo of Sydney Wiese and Marie Gulich and another stout defensive performance, No. 11 Oregon State rolled to a 70-44 victory over Utah Friday night at Gill Coliseum.

The win pushes OSU (17-2, 6-1 Pac-12) into a three-way tie atop the Pac-12 standings with Washington and Stanford. It was also the Beavers' largest margin of victory during conference play.

Key run: OSU took control in the first half with a 14-2 run that overlapped the first and second quarters to turn a 14-12 deficit into a double-digit lead. Then after Utah cut the Beavers' advantage to 28-22 with 3:52 to play before the break, OSU finished on an 11-0 spurt, including a step-back three-pointer by Wiese at the buzzer.
