The Oregon State basketball team played the Nevada Wolf Pack this evening, but the Beavers didn’t exactly show up. They quickly dug themselves a huge hole and every time they tried to cut into Nevada’s lead, the Wolf Pack answered with an even bigger run of their own. The ending sequence of the first half summarized the game quite nicely. After forcing a steal Ronnie Stacy threw up an airball from the opposite end of the court, Stacy must have been confused with how much time was remaining, because the ball fell harmlessly out-bounds with six seconds remaining in the half.
