Roseburg's Joe Newton played for Oregon State before bouncing around the NFL attempting to make a roster. Newton most recently was signed by the Seattle Seahawks, but cut before making the final roster.
Franklin's Legedu Naanee played for Boise State, transitioning from quarterback to wide reciever. In 2007, the San Diego Chargers selected Naanee in the fifth round of the NFL draft.
Hermiston's Jared Zebransky also starred at Boise State, winning the Fiesta Bowl MVP in 2007.
