Nall shines in battle with Cougars

Box Score CORVALLIS, Ore. – Sophomore tailback Ryan Nall rushed for 131 yards and scored three times but the Oregon State football team fell 35-31 to Washington State on Saturday night before a Homecoming crowd of 37,081 at Reser Stadium.

Nall became the 33rd player in OSU history to rush for 1,000 yards, and scored three times for the second time in his career. His 89-yard touchdown run in the first quarter was the third-longest in school history.

The Beavers (2-6, 1-4 Pac-12) led 21-0 in the second quarter and 24-6 at halftime but could not hold off the Cougars (6-2, 5-0) in the second half.
