Box Score CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State football team scored the final 20 points of the game and defeated Oregon 34-24 on Saturday before a roaring, sellout Reser Stadium crowd of 44,160 in the 120th Civil War.
The Beavers (4-8 all, 3-6 Pac-12) used a dominating running game to pound Oregon (4-8, 2-7) into submission in the final 20 minutes of the game. OSU ran the ball 21 consecutive times at one point in the second half, finished the game with 310 rushing yards, and threw only three passes in the second half and none in the fourth quarter, when it scored twice to end an 8-year Civil War losing streak.
