LYNCHBURG, Va. – Oregon State left-handed reliever have been named a Freshman All-America First-Team selection on Monday by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
Mulholland, from Snohomish, Wash., leads Oregon State with six saves and 27 appearances. He is 6-1 with a 1.31 ERA in 48 innings. Opponents are batting .195 against him and he has 41 strikeouts to just 11 walks.
Mulholland has also been recognized by Collegiate Baseball as a Freshman All-American, and was also honored as a Pac-12 Honorable Mention selection.
