SEATTLE, Wash. – Oregon State cross country took second place overall, while junior Juliana Mount placed fourth individually on Saturday at the Sundodger Invitational at Lincoln Park.
"Great start to the season for the troops," began head coach Louie Quintana. "It was a great effort from the entire group, and we will continue to improve, but I felt we ran a very poised race."
Mount finished the 6,000-meter course layout in 20:44.82, just over 15 seconds behind first place. She came into this season as the Beaver's number two finisher at both the Pac-12 meet and the NCAA West Regional Meet in 2016.
