On Sunday, the Milwaukee Bucks are expected to sign former Oregon State stand-out, Gary Payton II, to a contract that will keep the 24-year old in “Brew Town” through the end of the 2016-2017 season. The news was first reported by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
At Oregon State, Payton II was the focal point of a team that returned the Beavers to the NCAA Tournament in 2016, for the first time in the program’s history since 1990. He was a two-time All-Pac 12 selection, in addition to also being named the back-to-back Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in both 2015 and 2016.
