CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State football's Michael Doctor has been promoted to director of recruiting, head coach Jonathan Smith announced Friday.
Doctor, who was previously the team's director of on-campus recruiting since July 2019, and as a recruiting assistant before that, played for Oregon State from 2010-14. He started 38 games for the Beavers from 2011-14, totaling 238 tackles with 22.5 tackles for loss.

During his time at Oregon State, he was a watch list selection for the LOTT Impact Trophy, which is given annually to college football's best defensive player in performance and character.
