CORVALLIS – Coming off a 5-27 season that players have called embarrassing, the Oregon State men’s basketball team is out to prove that last season was a fluke.
The Beavers dealt with mass departures from its NCAA Tournament team the previous year and were dealt critical injury blows that ravaged its already tenuous depth. All starters are back and OSU has a young bench corps that will need to contribute quickly if the Beavers expect to get back into the top half of the Pac-12 standings.
Oregon State remains young, with only three seniors, so it will be on the likes of Tres Tinkle, Drew Eubanks and Stephen Thompson Jr.
