CORVALLIS, Ore. – Junior and freshman are headed to California to compete at the Pacific-12 Conference Combined Events championships this weekend hosted by Stanford University.
The two-day, seven-event heptathlon begins at 12 p.m. on Saturday at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Stanford, Calif. The action resumes on Sunday at 11:45 a.m. for the long jump.
McNairy and Corbitt have competed in one heptathlon this year at the Jim Click Multis in early April. McNairy finished the event with 4,289 points, while Corbitt was not far behind with 4, 032. McNairy currently ranks 4 all-time in Oregon State's history in the event, while the freshman Corbitt sits in 8.
