SAN FRANCISCO – Oregon State's Mariah Mazon and Maia Rader pick up two Pac-12 weekly honors, the conference announced on Monday.
Mazon (Tulare, Calif.) was named the Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week after leading the charge from the circle for the Beavers last weekend as Oregon State picked up three wins over Oregon in Eugene. The sophomore majoring in psychology pitched 15.2 innings and struck out eight batters. Mazon started the weekend on Friday pitching five innings and kept the Ducks off the board to throw a complete game and her fourth shutout on the season.
