Oregon State announced Thursday that senior guard Malcolm Duvivier would not be with the team for the 2016-17 season due to "personal reasons."

"Malcolm is taking time from school and basketball to work out some personal issues," head coach Wayne Tinkle said in a release. "He will be with his family during this time and we support him fully with this decision."

Oregon State said in the release that Duvivier's decision was not related to basketball, off-the-court conduct or a violation of team rules, although no further information was provided.
